Traffic Diversion at Ganeshapuram Railway Subway Area from November 13, 2024, to May 11, 2025

Due to the ongoing flyover construction work at the Ganeshapuram Railway Subway area, traffic diversions have been proposed and initially implemented on 06.11.2024 for a one-week trial. The same traffic diversion plan will be in effect from 13.11.2024 to 11.05.2025 for an extended period of six months.

Traffic Diversion Details:

- Closure: Stephenson Road Junction to Ganeshapuram Subway will be temporarily closed.

Route Diversions:

- Vehicles from Melpatti Ponnappan Street towards Pulianthope via Stephenson Road will be rerouted through the following path:

- Stephenson Lane Road  A.A. Road, Perambur High Road, Perambur Flyover, Jamalia Road, Cooks Road Junction, Stephenson Road, Chenkai Sivan Bridge, Dr. Ambedkar College Road, leading to Pulianthope.

- Vehicles heading towards Vyasarpadi and Kodungaiyur via Ganeshapuram Subway will be diverted to:

- Pulianthope High Road, Gandhi Roundtana, Basin Bridge, Vyasarpadi New Bridge, Market, Muthu Street, Moorthingar Street, Right onto Erukanchery Road, reaching their destination.
