Tamil Nadus 13 Districts Brace for Light to Moderate Rainfall in Coming Hours

The Regional Meteorological Centre (RMC) has issued a forecast indicating the possibility of light to moderate rains in 13 districts of Tamil Nadu. As per the RMC`s statement, residents of Tiruvallur, Chennai, Kancheepuram, Chengalpattu, Ranipet, Vellore, Tirupattur, Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, Dindugal, and Erode can expect rainfall within the next three hours.
The RMC report attributes this weather pattern to variations in the speed of westerly winds heading towards Tamil Nadu. Consequently, sporadic episodes of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning may occur at select locations in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry from today until June 29.
