In the residential locality Anna Nagar in Chennai, there was 4.5cms of rain in just 30 minutes. In just 10 minutes here, 2cms of rain was recorded.
The rains have been lashing the city of Chennai for the last 2 days and this has led to the disturbance in the normalcy now. In north chennai , some localities have water logging.
On 3rd November, the intensity of the rains reduced a bit and this brought some relief for the residents of Chennai. The stoppage of rains in the city has been responsible for the water draining in many places. From 5pm in the evening yesterday, the rains once again started pouring down is known. From 5pm to 7pm, there was heavy rain in the city. It must be noted that 4.5cm of rain have been recorded in places like Anna Nagar, Ambattur etc. This has affected the normal lives of the residents now.
