Prospects for heavy rain in 5 districts today!

The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed us that there are prospects for heavy rain in 5 districts in the State of Tamil Nadu today (Tuesday, 13th September) due to the changing speed of wind in the western direction.
In a notification released by the Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre, it is mentioned:
"There are prospects for mild rain with lightning and thunder in 1 or 2 places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikkal. Further, there are prospects for heavy rain in 1 or 2 places in the districts of Nilgiri, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Theni, and Dindigul.
As regards Chennai Metro City, the sky will remain somewhat cloudy in the next 48 hours. There are prospects for mild to medium rain with lightning and thunder in a few places in the city. The maximum temperature will be 36 Degree Celsius and the minimum temperature will be 27 Degree Celsius.
The maximum rainfall recorded in cm in the last 24 hours: Pandalur-17, Dewala-12, Wood Prior Estate, 9, Harrison Estate, Cherumulli- 6 each.
For fishermen
There are prospects for high-speed winds at 45-55 kmph and intermittently at 65 kmph in Mannar Bay and the adjacent South Tamil Nadu coastal areas.
There are prospects for high-speed winds blowing at 45-55 kmph and intermittently at 65 kmph in the North Karnataka coastal area and the adjacent middle-east Arabian Sea and the Andhra coastal area.
As such, fishermen are warned NOT to venture into these areas!
