Latest information about the ORANGE ALERT & YELLOW ALERT issued to the districts in TN!!

There would be very heavy rains in the districts like The Nilgris and Coimbatore today and tomorrow. Orange alert has been issued in these 2 districts now.
In the same way, the districts of Theni, Tenkasi and Dindigul would receive heavy rain and a Yellow alert has been issued in these 3 districts. Regional meteorological centre in Chennai has confirmed that one or two places belonging to districts like Theni, The Nilgiris, Coimbatore, Dindigul and Tenkasi etc would get heavy rains.
The district of Nilgris would receive rainfall ranging between 12 cms to 20cms and this was according to the Indian meteorological department. In the last 24 hours, Gudalur in Nilgiris district received 23 cm of rain.
For the next 24 hours, Chennai would have cloudy weather and there would be mild to moderate rains with lightning and thunder in one or two places. The maximum temperature would be 33 to 34 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature would be around 27 degree Celsius.
