Rains in Chennai this coming weekend!!

Over the other regions, southwest monsoons have been slowing down and due to this there would be rains in Chennai and in the neighbouring districts this weekend.
Some places in the Chennai city would receive light rains with thunderstorms in the next 2 days. This was according to the IMD prediction. Chennai would have cloudy skies and the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 35 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
Connective activity due to circulation moving from east and a low level trough from the west along with warm temperatures in the state of TN would result in the rains. This was mentioned by Mr. N. Puviarasan, director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, RMC. It is now said that from Saturday to Monday almost all districts in TN would receive rains and few places might get heavy rains also. On the early Saturday morning, Chennai would get rains and there would be rains again in the night time.
