Daily rains from the second week of August in Chennai!!

For the next 2 days, the north coastal districts and hilly areas of The Nilgiris and Coimbatore would receive rains along with thunderstorms. This has been informed by RMC, Chennai. The fishermen have been asked not to enter the sea till Friday morning.
As per the director, Area Cyclone Warning Centre, Mr. N. Puviarasan, heat convection and southwest monsoon would play their parts and there would be light rains along with thunderstorms for the next 48 hours in north coastal districts including Ariyalur, Cuddalore, Kancheepuram, Tiruvarur and Tiruvallur plus in the hilly regions of Coimbatore and The Nilgiris. Rest of Tamil Nadu would have dry weather.
He later mentioned that due to the strong winds with speeds of 50kmph to 70kmph in the southwest and central Arabian Sea the fishermen have been asked not to venture into the sea till Friday morning.
Close to south Andhra Pradesh, a low pressure has been forming and this would be responsible for rains in Chennai and the Cauvery catchment on the west coast would be active. Truth is that from the second week of August Chennai would witness almost daily rains. This was revealed by Chennai based weather blogger Mr. Pradeep John.
