KTC Update - K and T will be activated today. Luck needed for C to get activated for rains. Interior TN will see very good thunderstorms for next two days.

Look at the photo enclosed, u will understand why we (Chennai outskirts / suburbs) might get rains today. Its going to be very good day for Veppa Salanam Rain in Interior Tamil Nadu and for Chennai the convergence is happening so close. It will be luck based for Chennai rains. Surely some parts of Chennai will get rains if there is luck.
KTC (Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur, Chennai) - Reasoning

The steady heating make sures that the sea breeze comes late and that will be blessing with the super heating expected in the Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur and Chennai. Westerlies after Cyclone Fani fading away is very weak and when the dry hot winds from west meets the moist winds from east, it will be pure magic and blooming cumulus, congestus and cumulonimbus clouds will be seen today. Lets see Chennai`s luck today. Hope the meeting of west and east happens right over Chennai. Watchout for North Chennai and West Chennai in particular.

Most of the interiors are in line of rains. But the interiors like Krishnagiri, Dharmapuri, Erode Salem, Namakkal, Vellore, Thiruvannamalalai, Villupuram, Trichy, Dindigul, Madurai, Sivaganga, Pudukottai, Theni, Nilgiris, Coimbatore (Valparai regions) might get very good rains. Other nearby districts will also see rains. I dont want to list all.

Bangalore is looking good for rains today and its twin salem will also see rains. Just watch this link. Whenever it rains in Bangalore it will rain in salem too.

Need not worry about the yellow alert. these rains wont do any harm as they dont rain in widespread area. Even if it rains heavy, it will not be in all the places so wont trigger much run-off. The thunder and lightening are the threats. Dont be in open grounds this is for both Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka people.

Next update in the evening based on the clouds poping out. Keep ur eyes glued to the sky in the evening and hope. This rains if it happens wont solve any of water problem. Hope it is not a heat kalapifying rains.
