Shivering chilly winter persists in Tamil Nadu

A severe chilly winter session has been persisting in several parts of Tamil Nadu. A minimum temperature of 3.5 Degrees Celsius has been recorded at Ooty.
The Chennai Meteorological Centre officials shared in this regard:
‘Chill winds have been blowing from the North. Also, there are no clouds in the sky. So, the temperature in several parts of the state is down as compared to the average normal winter season. Snowfall has been persisting in a few places and frozen snow is prevailing at Ooty and other areas.
