Prospects of mild rain in the southern coastal areas of Tamil Nadu

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects of mild rain in the next 24 hours in the southern coastal areas of Tamil Nadu.
The low-pressure zone which formed over the Indian Ocean has now drifted to the southeast Bay of Bengal and the adjacent Andaman Sea. Due to this, there are prospects of mild rain in the next 24 hours in 1 or 2 places in the southern coastal areas of Tamil Nadu.
The Chennai Meteorological entre has further informed that there are no prospects of rain in the Chennai Metro City.
