Will there be rain on Diwali day? (Tamil Nadu Weatherman)

Low moves into Gulf of Mannar and to Comorin Sea - So South Tamil Nadu can see very good rains today. While Delta is getting smashed and holiday announced.

With low expected to move further down to Gom and then to Comorin Sea the convergence has happened perfectly over Delta region. The rains will further shift down to southern districts.
South TN can see heavy rains today / tomorrow

Kanyakumari, Nellai, thoothukudi, Ramanathapuram all will be getting rains today / tomorrow. At places the rains will be heavy to very heavy rains. Delta will get one more day of rains.
Chennai

Sun and occasional sudden spell of rains. Mostly night / early mornings we can expect some spell of rains. Its time for Chennai to say good by to this trough of low from Tomorrow.
Spinning thing - confusion on intensity prevails.

Still no clarity seen. Two models showing strong system hitting TN. But the probability of such strong system in next few days are remote. But we can see a low pressure / wml (well marked low) for sure. Most of the models are taking it to Sri Lanka and then again Gulf of Mannar to Comorin this is a great possibility. The American and Indian models are consistent on strong system while others are not interested in a strong one. In the next two to three days we will have clarity. As of now not much rains seen on Diwali day for the state.
The one to follow from Gulf of thailand into Bay of Bengal after this after 10th November will be an interesting one to watch.
Infact next two weeks will see active Bay with MJO in our basin.
