Meteorological Department:Depression likely to be formed in Bay of Bengal on 14th May
Chennai Meteorological Centre official Mr, Balachandran informed that due to the prevalent thermal convection, it has been raining in a few places in Tamil Nadu.
There a re prospects of a depression being formed in the Bay of Bengal near Sri Lanka on 14th May.
This depression is likely to intensify into a (low pressure) depression zone in the next 2 days.
This depression in the South-west Bay of Bengal leads to the bright prospects of rains in the districts near the Western Ghats.
