Online Electricity Bill Payment Services Temporarily Suspended in Tiruvallur District
Online electricity services for consumers in Tiruvallur electricity distribution circle have been temporarily suspended due to technical upgrade work.
According to district officials, the Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation is upgrading its low-tension billing server to a new hardware and database platform. The maintenance work will take place from 6:00 AM on March 14 until 12:00 midnight on March 15.
During this period, services such as online electricity bill payment and registration for new electricity connections will remain temporarily unavailable.
The suspension of services will affect low-tension electricity consumers in several areas including Tiruvallur, Ponneri, Gummidipoondi, Uthukottai, Tiruttani, R.K. Pet, and Pallipattu.
Officials have advised consumers to plan their bill payments accordingly until the upgrade work is completed.
