12 Police Inspectors Transferred in Chennai City Police

Twelve police inspectors in the Chennai City Police have been transferred as part of administrative arrangements and other service-related considerations.

The Greater Chennai Police periodically transfers police inspectors to ensure administrative convenience, based on requests and other departmental requirements.

As part of the latest reshuffle, Chennai Police Commissioner A. Amalraj issued orders on Wednesday transferring 12 police inspectors to different units and police stations.

Among the key transfers, S. Mani, Inspector of the Law and Order wing at Soolaimedu Police Station, has been transferred to the North Beach Police Station.

K. Velmurugan, Inspector at the Modern Control Room, has been transferred to the MKP Nagar Crime Branch Police Station.

Meanwhile, S. Murugan, Inspector of the Law and Order wing at Kilpauk Police Station, has been transferred to the Neelankarai Crime Branch.

The transfers are part of the Chennai Police department`s ongoing administrative arrangements.
