A New upcoming WhatsApp feature that will be helping the users a lot!!
Technology conglomerate Meta owned instant messaging and voice over IP service WhatsApp is making superb news now!!
The news is that WhatsApp would introduce a new feature that would help the users to manage their incoming messages more easily. There are many people who receive a large number of messages throughout the day and this new feature would be of superb use for them. Point is that this new feature I observed in the Android beta version but it is now in the developed stage only.
It was later revealed by a report from WABetaInfo that this new feature would allow the users to handle the incoming messages efficiently. The good news is that some users have already started receiving this feature in the WhatsApp Android beta version 2.24.11.13 though it has been rolled out to a limited number of users only.
A new option in the settings would have to be accessed by the users and this was as per a screenshot provided in the report. Point is that it would include the option for High Priority notification, Reaction notification and ability to clear unread message count after opening the app. By this, the users would be able to delete unread messages count from the app.
What would this new feature do?
When this new feature is enabled by the user, then all unread messages count will disappear as soon as they move to the Chats section after opening WhatsApp. To enhance the users experience using WhatsApp app, many new features are also added now.
At present, these features are available in beta version and soon these features would be available in stable version too. In the future, significant changes in the user interface of WhatsApp are expected. It is learnt that the WhatsApp status section is also being updated continually.
