Postal Voting Continues Till Tomorrow; 1.41 Lakh Voters Cast Votes in Tamil Nadu
Election Commission of India has announced that postal voting in Tamil Nadu will continue until tomorrow as part of the ongoing election process.
According to officials, more than 1.41 lakh voters, including senior citizens aged above 85 and persons with disabilities, have already cast their votes through postal ballots across the state.
Out of the 1.91 lakh eligible applicants who opted for postal voting, election authorities have successfully collected votes from 1.41 lakh individuals by visiting their homes.
Postal voting facilities are also being extended to government employees engaged in election duties. Polling officials had cast their postal votes yesterday at designated training centers where special arrangements were made.
The Election Commission continues to take necessary steps to ensure smooth and accessible voting for all eligible voters, with the process set to conclude tomorrow.
