Avore Launches EX Electric Motorcycle Range in India; Prices Start at ₹1.25 Lakh

Avore has entered the Indian electric motorcycle market with the launch of its EX1, EX2 and EX2S models. While all three motorcycles share a similar design, they differ in battery capacity, performance, riding range and features, giving customers multiple options based on their requirements and budget.

Price

The introductory ex-showroom prices for the first 10,000 customers are:

- EX1 – ₹1,24,999.

- EX2 – ₹1,49,999.

- EX2S – ₹1,69,999.

After the introductory offer ends, the EX1 will be priced at ₹1,34,999. Customers can pre-book any model by paying ₹799.

Battery, Range and Performance

The EX1 is powered by a 3.24 kWh battery paired with a 7.5 kW motor, offering a claimed IDC range of 160 km, a top speed of 100 km/h and 0-40 km/h acceleration in 3.2 seconds.

The EX2 features a larger 5 kWh battery with the same 7.5 kW motor, increasing the claimed IDC range to 255 km while retaining a 100 km/h top speed. It supports fast charging, taking around two hours to charge from 20% to 80%.

The flagship EX2S combines a 5 kWh battery with a more powerful 10.5 kW motor, delivering a claimed IDC range of 260 km, a top speed of 114 km/h and 0-40 km/h acceleration in 2.8 seconds.

All three motorcycles come with a five-year battery warranty.

The EX range comes equipped with several modern features, including:

- Predictive vehicle health monitoring.

The EX2S features a 7-inch TFT display with AI Stack, while the EX1 and EX2 are equipped with a 7-inch digital display.

The EX1 and EX2 offer four ride modes, whereas the EX2S adds six ride modes, including a simulated gear mode designed to provide a more engaging riding experience.

Hardware and Charging

The motorcycles use telescopic front forks, a rear monoshock suspension and disc brakes at both ends. The EX1 and EX2 feature a chain drive, while the EX2S uses a belt drive along with an integrated motor swingarm for improved balance and ride quality.

The EX1 can be charged using a standard 5A household socket, while the EX2 and EX2S come with a built-in fast charger capable of charging the battery from 20% to 80% in around two hours.

The motorcycles are available in multiple colour options, including Starlit Blue, Meteor Red, Stellar Black and Onyx Black, depending on the variant.
