Tamil Nadu Announces Exam Schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 Public Exams
The Tamil Nadu School Education Department has officially released the schedule for the 2026 public examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 students across the state.
According to School Education Minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, the Class 12 public examinations will be conducted from March 2 to March 26, 2026. The practical exams for Class 12 students are scheduled to take place earlier, from February 9 to February 14, 2026. The results for Class 12 will be announced on May 8, 2026.
The Class 10 public examinations will be held from March 11 to April 6, 2026, with the results scheduled for release on May 5, 2026.
Minister Anbil Mahesh stated that the examination timetable has been carefully structured to provide adequate preparation time for students while ensuring smooth conduct across all schools in Tamil Nadu.
The announcement has brought much-needed clarity and relief to lakhs of students, parents, and teachers, enabling them to plan their academic and revision schedules efficiently ahead of the crucial board exams.
