Know about this highest single day record that was created yesterday in Chennai?

On Wednesday, 24th January 2024, the state registration department recorded the highest number of registrations and revenue on a single day. This has now caught the attention of many.
It is amazing to note that more than 27500 documents were registered and Rs 200 crores was the revenue. The sources from the Revenue dept have revealed that Coimbatore topped the list with 4600 registrations. In Chennai, there were more than 3000 registrations and it brought revenue of more than Rs 100 crores.
According to some officials from the Revenue dept, the huge revenue recorded was due to Wednesday being an auspicious day for registrations.
