A huge 27 floor building that will be coming up in front of the busy Central railway station!!

The authorities from CMRL or Chennai Metro Rail Limited are now very busy in the tendering work to construct a huge 27 floor building opposite to the heavily congested Central railway station.
It is well known to us that Central railway station is a very busy place located in the heart of Chennai. The lack of enough space has been creating lots of issues to both commutes as well as the public. There are also issues regarding parking of vehicles etc here. Truth is that traffic congestion will increase in the coming years.
In this scenario, CMRL has decided to construct a 27 floor building here. It must be noted that opposite to Central railway station a project called `Madhya Sadhukam or Central Square has been implemented for a cost of Rs 400 cr. Under this project, a single tunnel would be constructed to link Chennai Central metro station, Ripon Buildings, RGGGH and Park railway station etc. Many people come to this central square every day. Here, the CMRL is planning to construct a huge 27 floor building.
