Sudden sharp increase in the footfalls at the Chennai airport now?

The summer vacations are slowly coming to an end now for the school and other educational institutions in Chennai. As more people are returning back to Chennai, the footfalls at the Chennai airport have become more now. The high demand from the travellers has now increased the flight ticket price. Many now want to come back to Chennai from places like Madurai, Thoothukudi, Trichy and Trivandrm etc.
It is known that many students have gone to their hometowns for the summer vacations. The schools would reopen on 7th June 2023. At the Chennai airport, there were many who returned back from the above said cities and the flight fares have shot up now.
Tuticorin to Chennai flight ticket price in the normal situation would be Rs 4401 but now the flight tickets range between Rs 8062 and Rs 14116 from Sunday to Tuesday.
If the ticket price for Tuticorin to chennai during normal days was Rs 2889 now the tickets are between Rs 8357 to Rs 4012 from Sunday to Tuesday.
