Tamizh Puthaandu or Tamil New Year falls on 14th April 2023 and it is one of the most important days in the state of Tamil Nadu. As it is also a government holiday, people would be planning to go to their native places to be with their families. In this scenario, additional buses have been kept ready to help the public to go to their natives.
It is now mentioned that arrangements have been made so that the buses operating in Villupuram, Tirunelveli and other regions etc would be able to go long distances once the reservation of express buses gets completed. This was according to some officers belonging to the transport corporation. As manya s 300 additional buses would be operated. It is learnt that the instructions were already issued to the bus depot supervisors to inform about the need for additional buses in advance.
