In response to the objections raised, Southern Railway announced that the measures implemented to maintain a quiet environment at the station have been withdrawn. Chennai Central has resumed loudspeaker announcements, providing train-related information through audio announcements once again.
This decision comes as a relief to many commuters who rely on audio announcements to keep track of their train schedules.
