2 New Mofussil Bus Terminals very near Chennai!

The Chennai Metro Development Authority (CMDA) has decided to set up 2 new bus terminals in Chengalpattu and Mamallapuram!
The present Koyambedu Bus terminal was inaugurated in the year 2002!
Subsequently, another bus terminal was set up in Madhavaram and is now in service for the public!
Now, the construction of the 3rd Bus terminal is in progress in Kilambakkam. This bus terminal is expected to be in public service shortly.\Further, the 4th Mofussil Bus Terminal of the Chennai Metro City is being set up inThirumazhisai.
In this scenario, the Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority (CMDA) has decided to construct 2 more Mofussil bus terminals at Chengalpattu and Mamallapuram.
As per this, one bus terminal will be located near the Chengalpattu Medical College covering 15.67 acres. The second terminal will be constructed at Thirukkazhukkundra near Mamallapuram covering an area of 6.79 acres.
Meanwhile, with the Kilambakkam Mofussil Bus terminal all set to open shortly, arrangements are to be made for the public/passengers to reach here. The transport aficionados feel that otherwise (in the event of no transport facility to reach Kilambakkam), there would huge losses incurred by the Transport Corporations! As such, it is imperative to ensure transport facilities reach Kilambakkam Mofussil Bus Terminal!
