Know the interesting things that happened at India Bakery Expo held at Chennai Trade Centre?

From 9th to 11th of September 2022, India Bakery Expo or IBE 2022took place at Chennai Trade Centre at Nandambakkam. It must be noted that the 5th edition of IBS was organised by Tamil Nadu Bakers Federation- India or TNBF. This expo was a superb success and it would not have been possible if persons like Mr. G.K. Porkai Pandian, chairman IBE, Mr. G. Manivannan, president of IBE, Mr. Subramaniam, secretary and Mr. R. Ramaswamy, treasurer plus all the members belonging to TNBF played their roles to perfection. Exhibitors from all the categories took part in this expo.
Information is that more than 15000 visitors came to the 2 days expo event. The main objective of this expo was to showcase all the bakery related items like bakery machineries, ingredients like premixes, raw materials and preservatives, packaging, RO water, cake display counters, cold rooms, ice creams, cloth bags, FSSAI, MSME and TIIC etc.
The event also witnessed cake competition for the college students and it was the first time such a competition was held at the expo. This had caught the attention of many. To make the entry of visitor`s easy, QR code based entry was introduced for the very first time at the expo.
