The Chennai Regional Meteorological Centre has informed that there are prospects for medium rain in the next 2 hours in 5 districts in the State of Tamil Nadu.
The 5 districts with the prospects for medium rain are Chennai, Chengalpattu, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Ranippettai, and Vellore.
It has been raining since early morning in the suburban areas of the Chennai Metro City.
In Chennai Metro City, there were sudden rains in the early morning in the areas including Marina and Mandavelli. It has also been raining in some other parts of Chennai Metro City including Vepery, Periyamedu, Marina, Mandavelli, Kodambakkam, Guindy, and K. K. Nagar this morning.
