Good prospects of rain in Chennai! Metro weather report!

It rained in several places in Chennai city yesterday during the night.The meteorological centre have reported that this is likely to continue.
The rain has been due to thermal current convection.
The met centre also informed that there have been rains in Coimbatore, Nilgiri, Theni, and other places near the Western Mountain range due to the south-west monsoon.
Yesterday, there was maximum rainfall of 18 cm recorded in Chinnakallar, 10 cm at Valparai, and 3 cm at Mylapore..
There will be rain at some places in Tamil Nadu in the next 24 hours.
Chennai might have showers with thunder due to thermal current convection.
