Train Ticket reservation Facility at Post Offices

Chennai Postal Region in-charge, Mr. Merwyn Alexander informed that the public can now avail the facility to reserve for train tickets.
A contract agreement has been jointly signed a few years ago by the Indian Railway & Postal Department to facilitate the advance reservation of train tickets.
Accordingly, the facility for reservation of train tickets was introduced in Sriperumbudhur Post Office (under the jurisdiction of Chennai Postal Region) during the year 2008.
Gradually, train ticket reservation facility has been introduced in the Post Offices at Sasthri Bhavan, Kalpakkam,. Senji Villianur, Thiruvettipuram, and Sengam under the jurisdiction of Chennai Postal Region.
