Huge Pothole on Chennai-Puzhal Highway Causes Severe Traffic Congestion

A huge pothole has suddenly developed on the Chennai-Puzhal Highway, causing severe traffic congestion in the surrounding areas.

The pothole reportedly formed after a drinking water pipeline beneath the highway was damaged, resulting in the road surface collapsing and creating a large cavity.

Due to the road damage, traffic movement has been severely affected in areas including Puzhal, Sengundram and Madhavaram. Motorists are facing difficulties while travelling through the affected stretch, leading to significant traffic congestion.

Authorities are expected to take necessary steps to repair the damaged drinking water pipeline and restore the road to normal condition.
