IIT Madras to Showcase 100+ AI and Data Science Research Projects on May 18
Indian Institute of Technology Madras is set to organise a major Artificial Intelligence and Data Science research exhibition at its campus on May 18, offering students, researchers, and technology enthusiasts an opportunity to explore more than 100 cutting-edge research projects.
The event is being organised by the Wadhwani School of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at IIT Madras and will feature research work across multiple advanced technology domains including Generative AI, General AI, Reinforcement Learning, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Computational Biology, and Responsible AI.
According to IIT Madras, the exhibition aims to create a collaborative platform where researchers, professors, students, industry experts, and innovators can come together to discuss emerging trends and advancements in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
Officials stated that the event will provide visitors with direct exposure to next-generation AI technologies and real-world applications being developed at IIT Madras. The research showcase is expected to attract participants from educational institutions, technology sectors, and the broader research community.

The Wadhwani School of Data Science and AI was established at IIT Madras in 2024 with the objective of bringing together leading faculty and experts in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence to work on socially impactful and industry-relevant technological solutions.
