Chennai Metro Update: Chief Minister Vijay to Travel by Metro and Inspect Construction Works

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay is scheduled to inspect Chennai Metro Rail operations and ongoing construction works in the city today.

As part of the inspection, the Chief Minister is expected to travel by Chennai Metro Rail from Government Estate to Nandanam at around 2 PM. The journey will provide an opportunity to review Metro services and assess ongoing infrastructure developments along the route.

During the visit, the Chief Minister is also expected to hold discussions with Chennai Metro Rail officials regarding the progress of Metro projects and related works in the city.

Following the Metro journey, he is scheduled to inspect ongoing construction works at Kathipara in Chennai. The inspection will focus on the progress of the works and their implementation.

The visit highlights the ongoing review of Chennai`s expanding Metro Rail infrastructure and major construction projects aimed at improving urban transportation and connectivity across the city.
