Sewage Pumping Stations in Teynampet and Adyar to Remain Non Operational on July 17

The Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (CMWSSB) has announced that several sewage pumping stations in the Teynampet and Adyar zones will remain temporarily non-operational on July 17 due to the replacement of a major sewage pumping pipeline at the Taramani Metro Rail Station.

The disruption will be in effect from 10:00 PM on July 16 until 10:00 PM on July 17. During this period, sewage pumping stations at North Mylapore, South Mylapore, Ice House, Pattinapakkam, Raja Annamalaipuram, Bhakthavatchalam Nagar, and Adyar will not function.

Residents in the affected areas can report sewage-related complaints by contacting the respective area engineers. Complaints from the Teynampet Zone can be made by calling 8144930909, while residents in the Adyar Zone can contact 8144930913.
