Gold prices in Chennai continued their upward trend on Thursday, July 23, 2026, according to the latest Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA) bullion rates. Both 22-carat and 18-carat gold prices increased by ₹70 per gram, while silver prices remained unchanged.

According to the latest bullion market update, the price of 22-carat gold has been revised to ₹13,500 per gram, reflecting an increase of ₹70 from the previous day`s rate of ₹13,430 per gram.

Similarly, the price of 18-carat gold has risen to ₹11,315 per gram, also registering a ₹70 per gram increase compared to Wednesday`s closing price.

Meanwhile, silver prices remained steady at ₹245 per gram, showing no change from the previous trading session.
