Theme Song for CISF’s 25-Day Coastal Cyclothon Released in Chennai
The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) has released the theme song for its 25-day coastal cyclothon 2026 in Chennai, as part of a nationwide initiative to raise awareness on coastal security challenges.
The cyclothon aims to sensitise the public about issues such as drug trafficking, arms and explosives smuggling, human trafficking, illegal infiltration, and terrorist activities along India’s coastline.
The theme song was released on Monday at the airport director’s office conference hall in Chennai. Senior CISF officials explained that the campaign is designed to engage coastal communities and strengthen public participation in national security efforts.
The coastal bicycle expedition will begin from New Delhi on January 28 and will travel through nine coastal states, including Tamil Nadu, covering several districts over 25 days.
As part of broader security initiatives, CISF has also announced the introduction of AI-based surveillance systems at international airports, including Chennai, to further enhance aviation security.
