Since March 1st, gold prices have maintained a relentless upward trajectory. Yesterday, jewelry gold climbed by Rs. 35, reaching Rs. 6,250 per gram. Consequently, Sovereign Ornamental gold hit a record high of Rs. 50,000, reflecting a remarkable increase of Rs. 140 per gram in just one day.
Currently, jewelry gold is priced at Rs. 6,390 per gram, signaling a surge of Rs. 1,120 for Sovereign Ornamental gold, now selling at Rs. 51,120 per gram. This sudden spike of Rs. 1,000 in gold prices has sparked significant concern among the public.
Furthermore, the price of silver also experienced an uptick, rising by 30 paise to Rs. 80 per gram, with a kilo bar of silver selling at Rs. 80,800.
