Tree branch disrupts Tambaram–Beach suburban train services

Suburban train services on the Tambaram–Beach line were disrupted for more than 30 minutes on Sunday after a tree branch fell on an electric pole between Guindy and Beach railway station.
As a result, electric train services were halted at various stations along the route. Passengers faced delays until the obstruction was cleared and power supply restored.
