Chennai Gold Rate Today July 31, 2026: 22K Gold Rises to ₹13,255; Silver at ₹235

Gold prices in Chennai continued to rise on Friday, July 31, 2026, according to the latest morning rates shown by the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA).

The price of 22-carat gold increased by ₹25 per gram to ₹13,255, compared with ₹13,230 per gram on July 30.

Similarly, 18-carat gold rose by ₹25 per gram to ₹11,070, up from ₹11,045 per gram the previous day.

Meanwhile, the silver rate in Chennai remained unchanged at ₹235 per gram, continuing at the same level recorded on July 30.

Chennai Gold Price Continues to Rise

Gold prices have now increased for the second consecutive day after declining earlier in the week.

On July 30, the price of 22K gold rose by ₹75 to ₹13,230 per gram, while 18K gold increased to ₹11,045 per gram. With another ₹25 increase today, 22K gold has reached ₹13,255 per gram and 18K gold ₹11,070 per gram.

Compared with July 29, 22K gold is now ₹100 per gram higher, while 18K gold has also increased by ₹100 per gram over the two-day period.

Silver, however, has remained stable at ₹235 per gram.
