NEET Re-Exam 2026: Tamil Nadu Government Offers Free Mental Health Counselling for Students

Ahead of the NEET re-examination scheduled on June 21, 2026, the Tamil Nadu government has announced free mental health counselling support for students through its "Natpudan Ungalodu" initiative.

The initiative aims to help students manage exam-related stress, anxiety, and emotional pressure while preparing for the medical entrance examination. The counselling service is available to both students and parents through telephone-based support.

According to an official statement, trained mental health counsellors and medical professionals are providing tele-counselling services to ensure the emotional well-being and confidence of students appearing for the NEET re-exam.

Students and parents can avail themselves of the free counselling service by calling the helpline numbers 14416 or 104. The government has urged those in need of emotional support or guidance to make use of the service without hesitation.

The Tamil Nadu government`s mental health initiative is part of its broader efforts to support students during important examinations and promote mental well-being among young learners.
