Pongal 2026 Bus Ticket Booking Begins for Tamil Nadu Government Buses

Advance bus ticket booking for the Pongal festival has officially begun for Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) and SETC government express buses. Passengers can book tickets up to 90 days in advance, allowing early reservations for the Pongal holidays on January 14, 2026.
Last year, over six lakh passengers travelled from Chennai on special Pongal buses. If demand rises this season, special buses will once again be operated across major routes. The official announcement regarding special services will be made in the first week of January 2026.
