Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Office to Shift to 10th Floor of Namakkal Kavignar Maaligai

The Tamil Nadu government has announced that the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) will operate from the 10th floor of Namakkal Kavignar Maaligai in Chennai.

As part of the relocation, the offices of the Chief Minister’s secretaries and advisers will also be shifted and reorganised.

Officials have also been instructed to make changes to the meeting halls located on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th, and 8th floors of Namakkal Kavignar Maaligai as part of the broader reorganisation.

To accommodate the Chief Minister’s Office on the 10th floor, various sections of the Information and Public Relations Department, which were previously functioning from the floor, have been shifted to Kalaivanar Arangam.

The move is part of an administrative reorganisation aimed at creating suitable office space for the Chief Minister, secretaries, and advisers at Namakkal Kavignar Maaligai.
