Educational Qualifications:
Applicants must have successfully completed their 10th standard with a focus on English and Mathematics subjects. Proficiency in the Tamil language is mandatory, and a basic skill of riding a bicycle is essential.
Age Criteria:
- Minimum Age: 18 (Age should be attained by the final date of application submission)
- Maximum Age: 40 (Age should be attained by the final date of application submission)
- Age Relaxation: Scheduled Castes (5 years), Scheduled Tribes (5 years), OBCs (3 years), differently-abled individuals (10 years) beyond the prescribed age limit.
Salary:
- Branch Post Master (BPM): Monthly salary ranging from Rs.12,000 to Rs.29,380
- Assistant Branch Post Master (ABPM): Selected candidates will earn a monthly salary between Rs.10,000 and Rs.24,470.

The application process is exclusively online through the official website indiapostgdsonline.cept.gov.in. Candidates should indicate their preferred postal circle for application, and they also have the option to apply for vacancies across multiple circles.
Application Fee:
A nominal application fee of Rs.100 is applicable. However, candidates from Scheduled Castes / Scheduled Tribes / Women of all categories, Handicapped individuals, and Transgendered candidates are exempt from this fee.
