TN CM Vijay Travels on Chennai Metro, Reviews Operations and Ongoing Works

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay travelled on a Chennai Metro train on Wednesday as part of a review of Metro Rail operations and ongoing infrastructure works in the city.

The Chief Minister began his Metro journey from Government Estate (Omandurar) Metro Station and travelled to Nandanam, where he was scheduled to review operations at the Metro headquarters. He was accompanied by officials during the journey.

The Chief Minister also purchased a ticket for the Metro journey.

According to sources, Vijay is expected to carry out further inspections related to Metro Rail works between Porur and Poonamallee.

He is also scheduled to inspect the ongoing Chennai Metro Rail works at Kathipara, as part of the review of the city`s expanding Metro infrastructure.

The inspections focus on Chennai Metro operations and the progress of ongoing works aimed at improving public transport connectivity across the city.
