Maruti Suzuki to Increase Car Prices Again From Next Month

India`s leading automobile manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki, has officially announced that it will increase the prices of all its car models from next month. Depending on the model and variant, the price hike will be up to ₹30,000.

Reason for the Price Hike

The company stated that the increase has become unavoidable due to the rising cost of vehicle components and raw materials. Despite efforts to absorb these additional costs, Maruti Suzuki said it has decided to pass on a part of the increased production expenses to customers.

Second Price Hike in Two Months

The announcement has raised concerns among prospective car buyers, especially those in the mid-range segment. Notably, Maruti Suzuki had already increased the prices of its vehicles by up to ₹30,000 in June. With another price revision coming just two months later, customers planning to purchase a new car may have to pay more.

Book Before the New Prices Take Effect

The company is expected to release the updated model-wise price list at the beginning of next month. Customers planning to buy a new Maruti Suzuki car may benefit by completing their booking before the end of the current month to avoid the upcoming price increase.
