Tamil Nadu Government Transfers Five IPS Officers

The Tamil Nadu Government has transferred five IPS officers, with the Home Department issuing the official order yesterday. The transfer order was signed by Tamil Nadu Home Secretary Dheeraj Kumar (Manivasan).

According to the order:

- M. Vijayalakshmi, DIG of the Armed Reserve, Tiruchirappalli, has been transferred and appointed as DIG of the Home Guards, Chennai.

- Sivaganga Superintendent of Police (SP) Sivaprasad has been transferred as SP of Thoothukudi.

- Thoothukudi SP Abhishek Gupta has been transferred and posted as SP of Sivaganga.

- Shanmugapriya, SP of the CB-CID (Chennai Central Zone), has been transferred as SP of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC), Chennai West Range.

- P.R. Meera, Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Rameswaram Sub-Division, has been transferred to the Chennai Police Headquarters.

The transfer order came into effect immediately following its issuance by the Tamil Nadu Home Department.
