Why These Special Buses Were Introduced

With platforms temporarily unavailable at Chennai Egmore due to infrastructure upgrades, suburban EMU train frequency has been reduced. This has resulted in overcrowding, especially on the busy Tambaram–Beach corridor.

The additional bus services are designed to:

- Reduce peak-hour congestion

- Provide alternative transport for daily commuters

- Ensure smooth connectivity across key Chennai routes

- Support passengers until renovation work is completed

Commuters are advised to plan their journey in advance and arrive early during peak hours to avoid delays.
