Chennai Gold Rate Today, August 24, 2026: Gold Prices Rise; Silver Also Gains

Chennai gold prices increased on Monday, August 24, 2026, according to the latest morning rates released by the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA).

The 22-carat gold rate increased by ₹80 per gram, rising from ₹14,950 to ₹15,030 per gram. The 18-carat gold rate also increased by ₹70 per gram, moving from ₹12,730 to ₹12,800 per gram.

The silver rate gained ₹5 per gram, rising from ₹270 to ₹275 per gram.
