Chennai Gold Price Today: 22K Gold Down Rs 20, Silver Falls Rs 10

Chennai gold prices declined in the latest morning update on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, according to the Madras Jewellers & Diamond Traders Association (MJDTA). Both 22-carat and 18-carat gold rates fell by ₹20 per gram, while silver declined by ₹10 per gram.

The 22-carat gold rate in Chennai decreased by ₹20 per gram, from ₹15,030 to ₹15,010 per gram. Similarly, the 18-carat gold price dropped by ₹20, moving from ₹12,800 to ₹12,780 per gram.

The silver rate in Chennai also declined, falling by ₹10 per gram from ₹275 to ₹265 per gram.
