Cyclone Arnab : Tamil Nadu May Receive Heavy Rain for 3 Days

A weather system developing over the Bay of Bengal is expected to intensify over the coming days, potentially bringing widespread rainfall to Tamil Nadu.

According to Delta Weatherman Hemachandran, the newly formed low-pressure area over the Bay of Bengal is likely to strengthen into a depression and could further intensify into a cyclone around September 23.

The developing system may bring widespread and persistent rainfall across Tamil Nadu over the next three days, with several areas potentially receiving heavy rain.

Hemachandran also noted that, based on the historical weather record he cited, the system could mark the 47th cyclone in the region over the past 165 years.

Residents across Tamil Nadu are advised to closely follow official weather updates as the system develops and its track and intensity become clearer.
