Sengottai - Tambaram Express to Run on Diversion Route on June 29 Due to Railway Works

The Tiruchirappalli Railway Division has announced that the Sengottai–Tambaram Express will be operated on a diversion route on June 29 due to ongoing railway infrastructure works.

According to railway officials, yard maintenance work at Tirunelveli Railway Station and double-line track construction between Vanchi Maniyachchi and Nagercoil are currently in progress. As a result, Train No. Sengottai–Tambaram Express, scheduled to depart from Sengottai at 5:35 PM on June 29, will be diverted via Tenkasi, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar, and Tiruchirappalli before reaching Tambaram.

Due to the route diversion, the train will not pass through Pavoorchathiram, Ambasamudram, Kallidaikurichi, Cheranmahadevi, and Tirunelveli stations on that day.

To facilitate passenger travel, the train will make additional stops at Sankarankovil, Rajapalayam, Sivakasi, and other selected stations along the diversion route.

Railway authorities have advised passengers to check train schedules and route details before planning their journey to avoid inconvenience.
