Chennai Metro Rail gets its first clearance to operate trains Koyambedu to Alandur
Research Design and Standards Organization, Lucknow has issued receiving the Interim Speed Certificate to Chennai Metro Rail to operate standard gauge trains from Koyambedu to Alandur.
Various trials were conducted by the Research Design and Standards Organization, Lucknow, which involved running the train in the full section of the track and recording safety and other parameters related to passenger comfort.
